| "Turist", a Croatian word for tourist speaks enough for itself. Turist (or tourist) is a family
run restaurant and guest house with more than 70 years of tradition. It remains successful
not only because of its wonderful position but mostly because
of the friendly and incredibly hospitable family. The Turist is situated on the edge of the village of Prodol, just off the main Pula to Rijeka road so it remains one of the "must stop" points for the Pula, Barban, Labin, Opatija, Rijeka travellers. It is only 17 kms (15 minutes drive) from Pula (10 minutes from Pula airport) and 5 kms from the beach. |

| The guest house
is situated behind the restaurant in large mature gardens. It
comprises 4 rooms in which each can accommodate two persons on
a double bed and one person on a single bed. The maximum
guest house capacity is 11 persons.
The accommodation remains airy and at a very pleasant temperature even in the hot summer due to the completely shaded terrace. |

Each room comprises a double bed with one single bed and has its own private bathroom and a balcony/terrace with table and chairs for relaxing with a drink or maybe having ice-cream. In every room there is also a table with two (or three) chairs, a closet, two little cupboards with lamps, a big mirror, Satellite TV and a hairdryer. |

The bathroom is quite simple; a sink, wc and a shower but with a good quality glass shower enclosure and plenty of hot water. There is also central heating with two radiators - one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom.
Between the restaurant and guest house there are extensive and beautiful gardens for all our guests to use, and with 3 swings especially for the younger guests. There is also plenty of secure parking availability. |

It really is a pleasure sitting in the warm summer afternoons in
the big green gardens with lots of trees and plants providing
lots of shade and with
the sweet smell of flowers all around. You are free to relax while your kids are playing
because the garden and the whole yard is safe, bounded with
a wall. There is also a big professional
outside BBQ area for guests use. Maybe for evenings chats with your
friends while the men make dinner :) for all of you. |

| For those of you who want to taste or even learn how to make real Istrian specialities, there
are your Istrian hosts and also the chef of
the
restaurant kitchen to introduce you to the traditional Istrian cuisine (or even give you some tips).
Original domestically produced Istrian food and wine will make your holidays unforgettable with a lesson to take home about how to make something "Istrian". |

The main recommended local activities which you may decide to try are horse riding at the "very" local horse riding centre and of course visits to some of the many beaches in the area. All are just a few minutes drive away. The photo on the right shows the beach of Krnički Porat - the prettiest, cleanest beach in the area (5kms from Turist). |

| Prices are quoted in Euros and are inclusive of PDV but are exclusive of Local Tourist Taxes and Registration. Breakfast - from 5 Euros. Invoiced price will be in kuna and will be converted at the exchange rate on the date of booking.
