Cottage Barban - Barban

Stay in your own detached Istrian cottage on the outskirts of the ancient town of Barban, with your own garden including pizza oven and barbecue, with spectacular views of the Učka mountain range and situated less than 10 minutes from the best beaches.
This little cottage will sleep one couple in a double bedroom, a separate bathroom, a connecting hallway and a kitchen / lounge where there is a little sofa bed for an extra child. This is a well equipped apartment with romantic appeal. The owners have decorated in a traditional and tasteful way. Old wooden beams above the kitchen give the space an authentic feel for the evening time.
In the kitchen you will find all the cutlery and crockery you need plus cooking utensils including the microwave! By the grand fireplace you also have a television and Hi Fi and you have a comfortable sofa facing. The window looks out to your own colourful garden.
The bathroom has a good sized shower unit and a large hot water storage cylinder and most importantly a washing machine for your use! Outside to this side of the house there is parking. The bedroom is simple with a good sized double bed, a full length mirror, and opposite there is a double door wardrobe with plenty of space for your clothes. During colder periods there is an oil filled radiator supplied by the owners.
At the other end of the cottage there is a terrace with a BBQ area and a tremendous view across to the mountains. The barbecue includes a fantastic Pizza making oven which all the customers love! But if you don't fancy cooking you will be just 1 50 metres from a great restaurant (the one which just looks like a bar where they play cards and dominoes!) and family bar, plus Post Office, Pharmacy, Butcher and 2 Market-shops.
Across the main road there is a very good pizzeria / bar where you can also take away pizzas to eat at home! The owners are very friendly and helpful Istrians and are likely to make sure you are kept well 'watered'. They brew their own wine and 'Rakia' (which we are sure you will be asked to sample!!!).
